Background

As the population ages and older adults increasingly use web and mobile interfaces, web usability for older users is becoming increasingly relevant.

Project Description

This study aims to discover the impact of various web and mobile navigation system elements on the performance of this substantial and growing group of users.

In particular, this research will result in web usability guidelines for navigation design which reduce the perceived disorientation experienced by older users, thereby improving their performance and satisfaction with the interface.
