Outreach
MeRC provides an interface to facilitate dialogue between academics and business leaders. In doing so, MeRC offers various avenues for technology and knowledge transfer. MeRC can facilitate this transfer through channels such as:
- Distribution of research papers and reports
- Annual research reviews
- Research and consulting contracts
- Meetings and consultations with faculty researchers
- On-site executive eBusiness training programs
- Seminar series on current and important topics in eBusiness
- Annual eBusiness conference
- Annual Symposium on Supply Chain Management
- eBusiness related workshops/short courses
MeRC plans to hold an annual one-day research review, where eBusiness research completed and underway will be presented by faculty members, other researchers, and students. During this annual meeting, members of the business consortium will review MeRC’s progress and discuss potential future directions.
